Well, that was a night to remember. After weeks of teasing it, the eclipse finally arrived, and honestly, it did not disappoint. We’re still buzzing from it, so this week’s blog is half recap, half “right, let’s get properly stuck into Bank Holiday plans.”

The Eclipse In a Word: Wow 🌒✨

Wednesday evening, gardens up and down the country turned into makeshift viewing parties, ours included. Watching that moon slowly creep across the sun, glasses on, sky slipping into that eerie golden-grey light, was every bit the once-in-a-generation moment we promised you it would be. A huge thank you to everyone who sent us photos of their own eclipse gatherings, blankets out, sweetie bags open, whole streets craning their necks westward together. That’s exactly the kind of moment we started this shop to be part of.

If you missed it, don’t worry, nobody’s ruling out another excuse for a garden get-together before summer’s out.

Bank Holiday: This Is Not a Drill ⏰🎉

Right, eclipse box ticked, now it’s full steam ahead for the August Bank Holiday. This is genuinely the last big date on the summer calendar before routines start creeping back in, so if a garden party, BBQ or “one last hurrah” is on the cards, this is your sign to get the order in. The diary’s filling up quickly and we’d hate for anyone to miss out because they left it to the last weekend.

What’s In the Bank Holiday Bundles 🧁🍬

We’ve been busy putting together Bank Holiday-ready bundles, sweet mixes, party bags, and a few decoration bits that’ll survive a long, lazy afternoon in the garden without wilting (unlike us, by the end of it).
