Well, summer’s officially had its last hurrah and now its September Birthdays. The Bank Holiday has been and gone, the kids are back in uniform, and there’s a proper “new term” energy in the air. Nine weeks into this little adventure and the seasons are already changing around us, so let’s get into it.

Bank Holiday: Mission Accomplished ☀️🎉

What a send-off to summer that was. Gardens full, sweetie bags flying out, and so many of you sending us photos of your last-of-the-season get-togethers. Thank you to everyone who let us be part of your Bank Holiday weekend, whether that was a big garden bash or a quiet one with the neighbours. It’s safe to say summer went out with a bang.

September Birthdays Means Back-to-School (For Real This Time) 🎒✏️

We teased it a couple of weeks ago, and here it is properly: school’s back, routines are back, and the whole rhythm of the month has shifted. If you’re navigating that slightly chaotic first-week-back feeling, you’re not alone, half our inbox this week has been from parents catching their breath after the summer holidays.

On the party front, that means our attention’s turning toward the kind of celebrations that fit around term time, after-school gatherings, weekend birthday parties, and yes, we know autumn birthdays are just around the corner for plenty of you.
